Mokhi Publication, as the spokesperson of progressive literature, has been trying to promote Sindhi language and literature and keep readers in touch with international literature since day one. The institution feels very proud to announce that this year (2023) we have published the Sindhi translation of the novel A Shinning by Nobel Prize-winning Norwegian writer Jon Fosse.
It is a matter of happiness for us to translate and publish any of the writings of the Nobel laureate writer Jon Fosse in his native language Sindhi before all the languages of Pakistan and while translating and publishing the masterpieces of our world literature in Sindhi language. This proves our passion. Ever since the announcement of the Nobel Prize for Literature, our colleague Abdul Karim Chana has been in touch with us and according to the instructions given, he himself presented the novel in a beautiful, elegant Sindhi style. This novel is the third book of his translation. Abdul Kareem Chana has definitely helped the Publication by translating this novel quickly.
Through this translation, the readers will get a taste of the style, art and thought of the world literature of the present time and will also get a chance to take the Sindhi legendary literature with the rest of the world. The institution is hopeful that this translation will be well-received and will also help in showing new ways to the creators of Sindhi fiction and novels.
